UTAH
Offroad & Outdoors Club is
a casual group of 4x4 owners who get together for trail rides, camping
trips, and exploring
in the
great
state
of Utah.
The group is
non-denominational, non-discriminating and non make specific, so anyone
with a solid 4x4 and the urge to explore is welcome. There are no membership
fees, no by-laws and no matching uniforms. We're the "anti-club club"™.
Offroaders of all ages are welcome. UOOC is a family-friendly,
fun, four-wheeling group.
There is no "club president" or "official
leader" of UOOC. This group was started to meet
other four-wheelers in Utah. As far as we're concerned, UOOC is group-ocracy. Joining UTAH Offroad & Outdoors Club
There are no official requirements for joining UOOC.
Just show up at a meeting or activity and dive right in! If you bring
your 4x4, be
sure that it meets at least the minimal recommendations
for safe offroading.
To participate in UOOC, join the discussion forum and
introduce yourself to the group! If you want to be listed on our "Members"
page, just send some pictures and your vital stats to the webmaster.
There are no membership fees to join UOOC.
If you’d like to support
the website, you can buy a utahoffroad.com email address for $10 per
year. Your utahoffroad.com email can be accessed through POP3 by an email
client
like Outlook, or you can access it through a web-based interface similar
to Hotmail or Yahoo mail. If you’d like to purchase an email address,
contact the webmaster!
Also, you can buy something from our online
store. $.50 of every purchase
goes to supporting the UOOC website and sponsoring group activities. UTAH Offroad & Outdoors Club Rules
There is only one rule at UOOC meetings and get-togethers.
The Golden Rule. As in treat others (and their property) as you would
like
to be
treated
(if you’re some kind of masochist then just use your best judgement).
Also, you should obey all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
So…I guess there’s actually two rules.
UTAH Offroad & Outdoors Club Activities
UOOC schedules at least one trail ride per month. The
trips will usually be one day excursions in and around Salt Lake, Utah,
Davis and Tooele
Counties. Trail difficulties and locations will vary from trip to trip.
You can find out about the next UOOC activity on the Upcoming
Events page. Anyone who wants to plan or recommend a trip is welcome to participate
in the
discussion
forum.
I’m
scared of heights, so please keep that in mind!
Also, UOOC would like to plan occasional campouts where the group can
get together and four-wheel into a backcountry campsite.
Other extended trips such as weekends in Moab
or Wyoming are also possible. If you’ve got an idea then let’s
hear it!
